ABOUT CXC

CXC has over 20 years of training experience in the fields of law enforcement and security. Unlike gun stores that sell firearms and "side-line" in training, we are exclusively in the business of TRAINING. Our mission is to provide professional training to responsible people in the fields of safety, security and firearms use. We won't try to sell you a gun! The one(s) you use are fine!

CXC's primary Training Center is located at 12643 N. Single Six Road, about 20 minutes N/W of Tucson. I-10, exit Avra Valley Road, go West (L) for 12.2 miles to Trico Road, turn North (R) for a couple of miles to El Tiro road, turn West (L) for 1.2 miles to Single Six Road, turn North (R) for a couple of blocks to the address (12643) and we're on the West (L) side of the street.

CXC's secondary Training Center is located within Pinal Airpark/Evergreen Air Center, just 20 minutes North/West of Tucson. Take I-10 to exit #232, Pinal Airpark Road (located approximately four (4) miles North of Marana, AZ.), proceed West on Pinal Airpark Road for approximately two (2) miles to the gated entrance. The officers at this gate provide further directions. This location is available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

The CXC facilities provides a perfect environment conducive to quality training. Training is available at our Training Centers and other locations including at your site!

CXC is an Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) certified training organization providing a DPS approved course. The instructor is certified as an instructor by each of the following entities:

* The United States Department of Treasury (DWE -- All endorsements)
* The Arizona Department of Public Safety (Approved organization, curriculum and instructor)
* The National Rifle Association (Certified Pistol & Personal Protection instructor)
* The American Heart Association (CPR instructor)

CXC's instructor is a member of:

* The American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET)
* The American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS)

ABOUT THE COURSE:

CXC provides the Arizona CCW 16 hour course for $75.00 per person or the 4-hour refresher course for $40.00. To reserve your seat, a deposit of $25.00* is required and any balance is due at the first class. Fees are for tuition, the written and range examinations, assistance with the DPS CCW application, one (1) set of fingerprints**, range fees, DPS Concealed Carry Weapons application materials and handouts. Group rates are quoted upon request. The course contains lectures, films and "hands-on" training components. Some of the topics include:

Please remember that before we can schedule you for a class, you must complete the enclosed application and return it with your deposit of $25.00 to CXC. Return the completed application and deposit to:

When we receive your completed application (next page) and deposit, we can schedule you for the next available class. Without the completed application and deposit we are not able to schedule classes. If you have questions or need additional information, please call us at either of the numbers at the top of this page.

Upon successful completion of the CXC CCW course, students will be eligible to apply for their concealed carry weapons permit through DPS. DPS requires an additional fee of $50.00 for the permit itself.

Bring the following to class: an unloaded handgun (if you do not have a handgun, we will provide a "loaner" for your use), a holster or holstering device, pen/pencil & paper. For the last class, bring the above plus at least 20 rounds of ammunition, your firearm cleaning kit, eye and ear protection. Firearms must be kept unloaded until directed otherwise by the instructor. You should also bring lunch, snacks and drinks.


* Deposits are not refundable, but if you cannot participate in your scheduled class, call (520) 682-6394 before class day to reschedule. Your deposit can be applied to subsequent classes.

** CXC provides one set of fingerprints for free. Collier’s X-Calibre Inc does not warranty fingerprinting. The FBI may not accept some fingerprints because of finger or hand damage, or for other reasons. Clients may also obtain fingerprinting service through various law enforcement agencies or from other private fingerprinting companies. Prices can range from about $5.00 to $25.00 for this service.
